Our residential care service is for people aged 65 and over needing help with general day to day tasks, including mobility, bathing/showering, dressing, personal hygiene, using the toilet and helping with meals.
Sterling House aims to provide these services as a care home, by offering accommodation for persons who require personal care through the ethos of valuing independence, dignity and comfort. We aim to provide services catered to the specific needs of individuals giving them the support they need while allowing them the freedom they desire. At Sterling House, we employ trained staff that are very flexible and friendly to better cater to the needs of residents.

Our community team led nursing care is for those with greater healthcare needs, requiring more extensive health care help from fully qualified community based District Nurses around the clock.
For those in need of short term care, due to an illness, an operation or some other short-lived need, we can provide extra support for that period.
Care will be provided by a team of fully trained Health Care Assistants led by the Registered Manager and Head of Care. We will also have full access to the community nursing team who will support us with all independent clinical health requirements.
All staff have a full Adult DBS check completed and references obtained prior to employment and will have undertaken a full training induction program. All staff will have to complete the care care certificate as required and will have qualifications within the health and social care setting.
We actively promote our staff’s personal continuous development and as such staff will attend regular training courses to keep them up to date with all that is required to keep them to the standard as required.
Our in house team are able to show you the show apartment via both virtual and face to face viewings! Arrange a face-to-face private viewing or instead have a viewing through facetime, giving you the same experience as if you were there yourself, with the benefit of still being able to ask the same questions you would when on a face to face viewing!
